Woman Assaulted in 43 Thorncliffe Park Elevator

Police want to find a 24-year-old man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman in a 43 Thorncliffe Park Drive elevator. It happened shortly before 11 a.m. on Sunday. Police say a 40-year-old woman and a man entered the elevator. The man allegedly exposed himself to the woman after the doors closed. When the victim tried to leave, the man allegedly pulled her back into the elevator and sexually assaulted her. He then fled the building.

Police are looking for 24-year-old David Simonic of Toronto who is wanted for sexual assault and forcible confinement. He is believed to be violent and dangerous. He is described as five-foot-eight and weighs 155 lbs. He has brown hair and a trimmed beard and was last seen wearing a dark coloured ‘Bench’ shirt, a dark Adidas track top with a zipper, a gold necklace with a pendant, grey track pants, and white runners. Police say he is believed to be violent and dangerous.
