Remembering Norman

We are sad to report that 95 daytime security guard Norman Gozun passed away from a severe heart attack while driving to work on the morning of November 9th . Norman worked at a level far above his pay grade, providing 95 residents with many services of a “real” concierge. We will miss him. Thanks so much to Morguard for hosting yesterday’s visitation for Norman’s family.

Help Us Clean-Up the Valley

Sunday Oct.17th, 9:00 AM — Noon

Friends of Thorncliffe Park is pleased to be co-sponsoring a clean-up of the Don Valley in Thorncliffe Park this Sunday, October 17th from 9 AM to 12 PM.

Led by the well-known, nature-loving Don’t Mess with the Don group, all Thorncliffe Park residents are encouraged to come out to help remove litter from our ravine behind the apartment buildings before winter sets in!  Everyone is welcome.

Greenwin Property Management is generously providing free food and drinks.  Participants are encouraged to wear long pants, long-sleeved shirts, and sturdy shoes as we will be working off the path, in the ravine itself.  The meeting location is the back parking lot of 75 Thorncliffe Park Drive.  If you are not an early riser, that’s okay!  Feel free to join us anytime between 9 AM and 12 PM.  Don’t Mess with the Don assures us that they will get everybody active and involved, whenever you are able to show up!

Promoting community health and safety is important, please follow all Covid protocols / guidance.  Do not attend if you feel sick or unwell.

Please register here: https://bit.ly/3iV2Q8R.  Registration helps to provide us with a sense of the group size in advance, but it is not a requirement to participate.

Hope to see you there!
